THE TITHE

The Old Testament Bible has several passages on tithing. That is giving of 10 percentage of harvest produce to the prieshood , workers at the Tabernacle , and a part of it to be used to cater for the needy by the priesthood.
The priesthood of the order of Aaron , the High priest vanished with the Death of Christ and opening of Holy of Holies to the public. Priestly services as intermediary between God and his peoples ceased. And replaced by New Priesthood of the Order of Melchiisedeck who has no beginning and no end. Under this Order all true believers are priests. And are able to go to God directly through Jesus. And not via any human intermediary. In the New dispensation Master Jesus becomes the High priest who gave Himself to Die once and for all the Sin of the World.
Paying of Tithe ceased. With the Death of High Priesthood. And elevation of all true believers as members of a NEW PRIESHOOD of the Order of Melchisedeck. Many Churches are being created by fake pastors. Members of the Churches are forced through manipulation and misuse of Scripture. The followers of the charlatans are bombarded with OLD TESTAMENT passages on need to pay tithe. Yet Scripture tells us that ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW. AND OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY. With the work on the Cross by the Messiah , Lord Jesus.
The need to care for the needy is a sacred duty. And all must endeavour to be charitable to one another especially to the poor , needy and deprived in society.
Monies are collected instead of Harvest produce as tithe. To sponsor extravagant life style of criminals and mercinaries. Who impose on people as intermediaries between them and God.
Fake pastors and prophets are know by their anti Word of God activities. They preach bogus Theology and encourage Tongues Speaking without Interpreter.
