COVID-19 PANDEMIC

China got up early this year 2020 and found a new deadly Virus attacking her population in a mysterious way. High temperature , coughing and sneezing characterised flu-like illness visted on the peoples in China. Speculations abound about origin of the Corona Virus. Some say it emanated from Wild Animals consumed as food. Others felt new killer Virus was accidentally made from experiments in a special laboratory somewhere inside or outside China. From China to every nation in the World mamy , in thousands have been infected with COVID-19 , the disease associated wth invasion of the new Corona Virus into the human body.Physical or Social Distancing , separation of about two metres , is recommended by World Health Organization (WHO) as preventive measure for not catching the strange flu. Staying at home often , wearing of face/nose masks and regular washing of hands with soap uhder clean running water are part of WHO Guidelines to slow spread of the Viral infections.America , Europe and Brazil are hardest hit by the sickness. Millions are expected to die Worldwide. And. No vaccines in sight to control infections and deaths. Every nation is managing treatment with all kinds of dubious remedies. Lockdown of Cities , Towns and Regions with movement and gathering restrictions are norm. Many are wondering if leaders are not just suppressing freedom of association and movements for selfish interest. Violations are met with stiff punishments. Human Rights abuses are prevalent in this era of COVID-19 pandemic. Reasearchers are trying hard to find a cure to the Corona Virus problem facing humankind. We hope soon a way shall be found to heai the deadly discomfort. Meanwhile good personal hygiene and respect of WHO safety measures against COVID-19 are necessary to defeat the pandemic.
