GHANAIAN DECEMBER 7 , 2020 PRESIDENTIAL AND PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS FACTORS THAT WILL DETERMINE WINNERS

Success of Presidential and Parliamentary Candidates , in December 7 , 2020 Ghana Elections , who are Politically affiliated or sponsored by a Political Party shall be determined by their individual contributions and that of their Parties' to Social , Political and Economic Development of Ghana. However Independent Candidates shall be considered on their individual capacity as sources of inspiration and their contributions to wellbeing of the Country and Society generally. Candidate Nana Akufo Addo defeated sitting President John Dramani Mahama in December 7 , 2016 Presidential Election. He won with 53.85 % of valid votes. Whilst John Mahama lost with 44.40%. What really explained success of Akufo Addo in the last Presidential Election was his numerous Vote Catching Promises made to the Citizens. They included Free Senior High School Education , improved Health Insurance Services and payment of Trainee Teachers' and Nurses' Allowances. Which former President Mahama replaced with Student Loans available to University Students. In order to enroll many more needed students into Teachers' and Nurses' Colleges. Other Manifesto promises of present President and his party , NPP , during 2016 Campaigns were One Village One Dam for irrigation of farmlands , One Village One Factory to create much needed jobs for the Youth and One Constituency One Million US Dollars per year for Development Activities. Free SHS has been implemented somehow with several challenges , including lack of suitable spaces for Teaching and Learning. And consequent introduction of much dreaded , unwanted and disturbing Double Track System. Most other promises are no where near satisfactory stages of becoming reality. Failure to improve living conditions of Ghanaians under Akufo Addo cum Bawumia Administration , increasing corruption in high places and increased levels of despair and insecurity have made many Ghanaians unhappy. And sad that they rejected John Mahama for untested Akufo Addo. Forner President John Mabama's Government was relatively peaceful and citizens did not fear to venture out. Mahama did very much in development of infrastructure. He built school blocks and Community Day Schools across the nation. Road construction was elaborate. Rehabilitation of old roads were done in various parts of the Country. Magnificent projects executed under former President John Mahama included Kwame Nkrumah Overhead Interchange and others. Youth Centers for meetings , recreation and entertainment were constructed in a number towns. Job training and creation were given considerable attention by Social Democratic NDC Administration under Ex-President Mahama. December Elections are mainly in respect of contest between Former President John Mahama and his National Democratic Congress and Incumbent President Akufo Addo of New Patriotic Party. Electorates/Voters are counting and evaluating achievements of the two major Presidential Candidates and Political Parties they represent. In order to better decide on choices to make in the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections coming early December 2020. Manifestos have been launched and all contesting Candidates in Parliamentary and Presidential Elections are doing much explaining their Manifesto Promises and Ideas to Ghanaias in Villages , Towns and Cities in Ghana. COVID-19 Pandemic has reshaped ways of canvassing for attention and Votes this time. In order to adhere to Safety and Protective Protocols against the New Corona Virus Diseases. Mass Political Rallies are in short supply. Due to Social or Physical Distancing Measures against COVID-19 infections. Instead Radio and Television Advertisements are up to the roof. And mini-political meetings up in various parts of Ghana. For Campaign Messages of Contestants. Strangely Peoples' Manifesto of main Opposition NDC has gained much currency. And Ruling NPP Administration under President Akufo Addo have started implementing some parts of John Mahama's NDC Manifesto. For example Peoples Manifesto states that ban on importation of Salvaged Cars shall be lifted when John Mahama and NDC are voted into power in December 7 Elections. Quickly Akufo Addo Government announced suspension of ban of importation of certain categories of used Cars and Salvaged Automobiles. Legalization , Organization and Proper use of Motorcycles for commercial transportation of passengers in the Country is one aspect of Peoples' Manifesto that is giving sleepless nights to Akufo Addo Government. And they are doing all to take the shine by proposing to the Commercial Motorcycle Riders alternative livelihood for them. Which have been rejected by Association of Commercial Motorcycle Members. One thing that is going to affect chances of Candidates associated with President Akufo Addo's Government and Party is wide spread perception of State Capture Policies in favour of Family and Friends Akufo Addo Administration. Such Policies include aborted Private take over of Electricity Company of Ghana by a dubious Power Distribution Company (PDS).. And recent attempts to mortgage Gold and other Mineral Resources of Ghana under dubious entity called Asaase Pa initially. And Company name changed to Agya Pa in order to hide owners of the Company. Who are alleged to be members of or directly connected to the Family and Friends Administration of President Akufo Addo. Few days to Ghanaian Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in December 2020 , great number of Citizens and Voters are waiting anxiously to cast their Votes for preferred Candidates. And witness the winners especially the one who will emerge President of Ghana for 4 yesrs starting from January 7 of 2021. Various surveys have been conducted on outcome of December 7 Elections. Most results from the Surveys and Polls show the incumbent President and his Administration are very unpopular. For failing to satisfy Campaign Promises that made them victorious in 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections. Ghanaians are captured in the Polls and Surveys as dissatisfied with pervasive corruption and thievery the present Family and Friends Government represents. And are determined to vote Akufo Addo Administration out of power. And replace it with a New John Mahama Government based on his NDC Peoples Manifesto. National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) are major opposition and Ruling Parties respectively. More than 10 Presidential Candidates and their Parties are going to participate in December 7 Elections. However few Independent Candidates are included. Vote Wisely. Your Vote Is Your Power. God Bless Ghana. And All Ghanaians.
